The Streak Is Dead But I Mean... Unconquered

Florida State played in their first rival game of the year! ACC rival number 1 for the Seminoles is the University of Miami Hurricanes, or better known as "The U." Sorry to any of you Miami fans out there but what made you so cool to claim that you're "The U" when the country is filled with universities, or "U"s??
As you can see I'm very passionate about Miami Hate Week.
Fsu has beaten Miami 7 years in a row. A 7 year winning streak is huge. Last year we almost lost but luckily, blocked a field goal in the very last play of the game allowing us to win by 1 point. This year was the same kind of nail-biter. (I'll have you know, I was offered tickets to this game but I couldn't get all of my shifts covered at work UGH. Restaurant business, why do you ruin the fun?)

The game was 3-3 until late in the second half where both teams went back and forth, outscoring each other every time. Until Miami scored a touchdown in the last 6 seconds. The officials ruled the play a touchdown on the field but then ended up going into further review. If any of you watched the game, you could see there were no cameras that were able to capture where his knee landed and where the ball was when his knee landed. (Seriously NCAA get us some goal-line cameras, ya killin me.) So obviously they had to keep the ruling that was on the field... ending the streak and crushing the hearts of 1000s of Florida State fans. The final score was 24-20 Miami. It was a great game and as sad as I am that we lost I am just as happy about a couple of the players' performances.

Player of the game: Wide Reciever Freaking Auden Tate. Can we just talk about him for a minute. He was an amazing asset this game even with a hurt shoulder. He suffered a joint seperation in his left shoulder 2 weeks and he couldn't even lift his left arm in-between plays but he managed to make an amazing 20-yard touchdown catch. That was right after officials literally had to force him out of the game and onto the sidelines because he was clearly in a lot of pain but just didn't want to leave his team hanging. Auden Tate I know you're not reading this but your parents did an amazing job raising such a tough, competitive, positive person. That is, if you athleticism is a reflection of you character.

Moment of the game: Miami guy playing guitar with James Blackman's leg. Hahahaha

One another note: The Jags beat the Steelers 30-9. CAN WE ONLY WIN ON THE ROAD??
Here's my Fantasy week 4. I'm literally dominating my league.
